And the new 2023 edition is now ready to buy!…. come along to the presentation on Saturday Nov 12th at the Library, to be one of the first to own yours!.
They will be sold at the usual venues very shortly, and we’ll publish a list soon.
But if your itching to know which places, people and stories are featured this year, come along on Saturday!

I love this calendars.
I have found a small error on the January page of the 2023 calendar. The page states that the Peoa House Hotel had a telephone installed in 1869. Bell did not have a patent or a working telephone until 1876. He was able to communicate for the first time in March of 1876 and he exhibited the telephone to the public for the first time in June, at the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia.

Hello! Thank you…you are quite right. It was a transcription error – should have read 1889. We can’t change the calendar but we have amended the date in the related website article.
