On Saturday September 24th at Kamas Library, the Kamas Valley History Group continued its quarterly program of history talks with the second in the series on the Hidden History of Kamas Valley – “Doctors, Dreamers, Builders and Banks“.

Our Chair, Deb Lambert, and her son, Sean, told the story of some of Kamas Valley’s heroes.

History is a series of guides and lessons from which we can learn. In no way can we fully understand the hardships and stresses, customs and acceptable behaviors of those living over one hundred years ago.

But by visiting stories like these we can to try to learn those important lessons.
