Do you feel our history is important?
Then maybe you’d like to help preserve it.
Or perhaps you’d like to help employ it, to help others cope with their lives, especially in these troubled times.
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” George Santayana
The group meets weekly (online, while Covid-19 social distancing pertains) where they review progress on current projects, discuss ways to broaden the capture and preservation of the valley’s history, and new methods of delivering this history to our residents and visitors.
If you’d like to join in, send an email to Deborah Lambert. Kate Wynn, or reach out to any of the team members listed here
Do you have pictures, documents, or old antiques and collectables that you’d like to share with your community.
Today that doesn’t mean loss – we can copy or scan old pictures, bringing them to life, and preserving them. Or we can simply photograph your collectable so others can share the enjoyment.
Again, reach out to the group.

Hello,
I have written a book about the murder of my grandfather, DS Neal, in 1911. Neal was born in Peoa. His father was John Austin Neel. He married Carrie May Lewis of Marion in 1903. She was the daughter of Daniel Lewis, Sr. Both families had moved to the Weber River valley circa 1860-1863.
I wonder if I can talk to someone about making some sort of presentation at the Kamas Museum or some other suitable venue. DS Neal and his wife moved Idaho in 1906.
I hope someone there will contact me.
Thank you.
Dan Neal
