On Saturday March 21st, and Monday 23rd, 2026, Kamas Valley History Group continued its quarterly program of Library Talks with a presentation at Kamas Library to celebrate Women’s History Month.

“Strong Women of Kamas Valley – Women’s Work” tells the stories of fifteen women who helped build and shape Kamas Valley during its foundation and early years, focussing on the work they did.

We intend to make this an annual presentation, and cover more “strong women” every year.
