We were shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of our dear friend Susi DeWindt Talkington after a brief illness late last month.

Susi was an educator and saleswoman extraordinaire who loved sharing her enthusiasm for Kamas Valley history. She was immensely proud of her status as a founder member of the Kamas Valley History Group, and kept us positive and motivated with her tremendous enthusiasm, huge heart and wonderful hugs.

She is very much missed.

Susi’s family have generously requested that any donations in her name should go to the group she cared for so much. We are humbled by and grateful for this gesture.
